Hi and welcome to our site. We set this site up to show you what we have been up to on our days/weekends out.

Here is a little bit about us...

I started photography when I was a kid after my Dad took me to Brands Hatch with an old manual SLR film camera. Around 8 years ago my parents gave me my first SLR film camera and after a few years I upgraded it and haven't looked back yet.
My photos on here will have been taken either on my Canon EOS 30 film camera or my Canon EOS 30D digital camera with various shutter speeds, film speeds and aperture.

I have always been interested in photography and cameras but it was not till about 3 years ago I made the plunge and bought a Fuji Finepix SLR "Style" digital camera and a Nikon F65 film camera.
I soon found I was using the SLR almost exclusively, I then upgraded that to a Nikon F80 and about a year ago made the plunge to a Nikon D70 digital SLR.
Much as I would love to be a purist and rave about how I miss film, I have to say I dont and I love the freedom that digital photography gives without worrying about using up all the film, or having to get the photographs developed the next day and only then discovering you missed the crucial shot.
My photos on here will have been taken with any of the above cameras but mainly with the D70.
I have recently purchased a Nikon D200, this was used for my Thailand trip.

P.S. We have had many "discussions" on the merits of Canon versus Nikon !!
